Good service of my 3 shimano reels and prompt communication over issue with one that needed new bearing. Have recommended to a few friends as well.

John has managed to fix my Daiwa saltist which I had forgot to clean out after an unexpected dunking along with myself! John called me to inform me of the bad condition of my reel before he commenced work and ask if I wanted to go ahead as he didn't hold out much hope for it. Permission given the reel arrived today which surprised me as I only posted the cheque last night!! The reel is running very well now so a big thank you to John for a excellent service at a very good price. will recommend to all my mates.

I sent my 2 (absolutely battered after my rod stand went over in high winds) penn 525 mag reels which were growling and screaming at me on every cast and retrieve to John and he has returned 2 reels which are like new. He has also repaired 2 beachcasting rods which were in very poor condition to their new condition. The guy is an absolute craftsman who loves his work and his prices were fantastic. Thank you so much John and keep up the good work, I cannot recommend you highly enough!

Sent a pair of Okuma Powerliners for repair and servicing. John was unable to get the parts so went out of his way to make them instead. Brilliant service again!

I asked for replacement handles for my two Penn Captiva reels as the originals have metal grips that are obviously cold during the winter months. John sourced two new ones with rubber grips in no time and at a very competitive price. I will certainly use 'Reel Value' again. Cheers John!

I recently sought advice rrom the manufacturers of a fishing reel which I treasured but had lost parts from it and was given details of the REEL VALUE website. Following my first email, I was amazed at the quick response I received. I also spoke directly with Mr Worthington whose information and help were second to none and I received the parts which I needed within a couple of days. Absolutely fantastic. The reel is back to normal and I'm itching to get back to the waterside.

Having sent my SPRO Passion Micro 605 reel to John as a 'Friday' version, it came back in record time as a sweet 'Monday jobby' very nicely serviced and tuned. And not just that, I got free advice and encouragement with it! Definately and thoroughly recommended - you could not do better elsewhere.
